

As with any profession, the need for continuing professional development (CPD) is vital to ensure that practitioners maintain and develop their skills.
Many professional organisations now insist that their members complete an annual minimum requirement. In most cases this requirement can be fulfilled by a combination of individual study & research, professionally facilitated supervision or attendance at courses or workshops.
The workshops and courses run by the Western School are aimed at providing focused and relevant developmental training presented in a practical, interactive and enjoyable environment.

Entry Qualifications
These depend on the level and type of workshop. Please give us a ring on 01292 285609 or email us for details of individual workshops.
Duration
All workshops take place at weekends and are either one or two days in length - again please contact us for details.
Award
A certificate of attendance or other relevant documentation (e.g. First Aid certificate) is awarded for each session.
Access
The premises used for Western courses have full disabled access. Additionally the school has a commitment to working with any student with special needs. A significant number of therapists who have graduated from the Western have done so despite challenges such as dyslexia and blindness.

Fee payment
Course fees consist of two parts:
